The Crombie Lockwood Early Talent Programme is focussed on developing Insurance Brokers for our business so we are looking for high-potential people. You may be a graduate, have decided university is not right for you, or worked a couple years in a business role and realised you have more to offer.
You will be offered a permanent job right away. Having said that, we will take care of the first part of 2020 with an intensive professional development programme to accelerate you on the pathway to becoming an insurance broker. The second half of 2020 you will get to truly test your skills, taking assignments in a number of our business areas.
We know there is more to you than your degree (and remember, we’re okay if you don’t have a degree) so won’t be judging you on your grades! That means we need to find other ways to measure how driven you are and how well you can communicate and solve problems. To do that we will be asking you to complete:
1. A question on motivation and one of your ability to solve problems in the online application.
2. Online testing
3. A video interview (check out vieple.com)
4. An online profile to show your skills and motivation.
If you do well on all these we will invite you to an Assessment Centre (you will have an interview and be part of a group exercise) at our offices in Auckland to meet our CEO and the rest of the team on the evening of 17 October. If you back yourself, block that in your diary now! Dinner’s on us that night.
To apply you’ll need to attach a CV (don’t worry about a cover letter but make sure all your relevant skills are easy to spot). Think carefully about your answers to the two questions on the application to help us get to know you better and your answers will help us make decisions as to who is moving to the next stage.
At Crombie Lockwood success doesn’t just happen, we’re the people who make it happen. So come on, let’s succeed together. #SucceedTogetherApply
